Detach Income from Success

It’s not that income isn’t an essential part of business. It is, and we need income for our business to survive.  When you tie money to your success, it can sap the life out of your creativity. It can drain the energy out of your passion for the work. It can kill your approach to new ideas and issues.

When you link income to success you risk feeling like a  failure if your income take a downturn.  In the slump, you might overlook a myriad of things that are also successful, like family life, educational achievements, or that hike up Mount Everest.
